A levelezőlap képes oldalán, a lenyugvó nap sugaránál horgászok láthatóak a Balatonba nyúló stégen. A láthatáron a túlparton Badacsony látszik. Hátoldalán a bal felső sarokban "Üdvözlet a Balatonról" felirat olvasható. Balatonszemes a Balaton déli partján, Balatonlelle és Balatonszárszó között található, nagyjából az északi parton fekvő Zánkával szemben.

On the verso, in the top left corner, is the inscription "Greetings from Lake Balaton". Balatonszemes is located on the southern shore of Lake Balaton, between Balatonlelle and Balatonszárszó, roughly opposite Zánka on the northern shore.
