A levelezőlap képes oldalán, az 1873-ban megnyitott Schalkház nagyszálló épülete látható, háttérben a kassai dómmal. Tulajdonosa Schalkház Lipót (1856-1901), aki nemcsak vendéglős és szállodás, de egyben gasztrotörténeti szakíró is volt. Legismertebb könyvei: A magyar konyha. Kassa, 1894. (A magyar konyha történetét írja le régi szakácskönyvek és történelmi munkák nyomán.), illetve a felszolgálókkal kapcsolatos szakmai elvárásokat összegző, Schalkház Lipót könyve a pinczérekről és pinczéreknek. Kassa, 1897. Mindemellett vendéglősök egyletének díszelnökének tisztét is betöltötte Kassán. Halála után örökösei, majd egy nevét viselő részvénytársaság vezette tovább. Az egykori szálloda ma már nem látható, az 1960-as években bontották le. Helyén a Hotel Slovan, majd a 2000-es évektől a Hilton hotel áll. A dátum a postai bélyegző alapján.

The Local History Collection of Csorba Győző Library has been collecting photos and postcards related to Baranya County since January 1966. According to the data updated on 1st February 2016, the collection consists of 11,565 copies. As the result of the digitisation project that started in 2012, the Collection includes about 59,000 black-and-white and coloured records of different sizes and types, which are searchable through the electronic catalogue. The famous postcard collector Tibor Endre Tóth has procured a postcard-collection of 6,000 items during the past fifty years. In January 2017, he offered the analogue-format collection – with Pécs contents in 98 percent – to the Local History Collection of Csorba Győző Library for digitisation within the frame of the city historical research program Pécs.

Balatonföldvár üdülőtelepének egyik részlete látható az 1898-ban átadott Zrínyi szállóval. Az épület ma is megtekinthető, a BF Hotel Balatonföldvár üdülő része (2017). A dátum a postai bélyegző alapján.

A levelezőlap képes oldalán az egykori Cairó kávéház belseje látható. Az előtérben márványlapos asztalok látszanak thonet székekkel, a háttérben biliárdasztalok sorakoznak. A díszítés és a belsőépítészeti elemek az arab képzőművészet formavilágát idézik meg, a keleti kávéházi jeleneteket ábrázoló freskókat Vajda Zsigmond festőművész festette. A millennium környékén nyitották megy a Király utca és a Lövölde tér sarkán. 1899-ben Tichy József, későbbiekben Kohn Márk, Pollák Bernát, ifj. Kutassy Lajos, Szmrekovszky Tibor volt a tulajdonosa. A vendéglátóhely egy időben a Zita nevet viselte.

A képen Margitliget látképe, gondosan feliratozva. Az épületek balról jobbra: tehenészet, étterem, konyhaépület, kápolna, felügyelőlak és az Üdülőház. Előtérben a teniszpálya illetve játékszerek. A levelezőlap írója a nyíllal megjelölt részen lakott az Üdülőházban. Az 1897-98-ban épített kastélyt és környékét a megrendelő Martin Sándor orvos elhunyt feleségéről nevezte el Margit-ligetnek. 1909-ben Wettenstein József, a tüdővész elleni szérum feltalálója vette meg és tüdőszanatóriummá alakította. Az épületet később, 1917-ben vette át a Szociális Missziós Társulat (Misszióstelepi Intézet), a főépületet 1918-ban keresztelték át Ottokár Hadiárvaháznak (Prohászka Ottokárról). A két világháború között árvaházként működött.
