Medallion issued by the Hungarian Doctors and Nature Scientists' Society. They organized roaming assemblies in different points of the country. The location of their 15th roaming assembly was Arad in 1871, for which this round medallion was made by Wenzel Seidan in 1870. The medallion was designed and ordered by Ágoston Kubinyi in 1869. According to sources, 600 pieces of medal were made out of bronze and silver. On the recto: a nymph is sitting and holding a jug pouring water, and lifting a wreath with her other hand. In the background: symbols of Arad County. On the verso: coats of arms of the city Arad and Arad County.
