A képen az új Pénzügymisztérium épülete látható a Várban, a Szentháromság téren. A minisztérium 1945 után elköltözött az V. kerületi József nádor térre. Maga az épület II. világháborúban súlyosan sérült, és az 1948-ban megkezdett helyreállítás eredménye már csak nyomokban emlékeztet az eredeti állapotra. 1968-81 között a Várklubnak is otthont adott. Az épület hátsó szárnyaiban jelenleg (2014) is történeti forrásokat őrző állami levéltár működik. Helyiségeinek többi részét kulturális, illetve turisztikai intézmények használják.

The Ministry of Finance on Szentháromság /Trinity/ Square Budapest 1904. The new Ministry of Finance building in the Castle in Trinity Square. The ministry moved to József Nádor Square in the 5th district after 1945. The building itself was severely damaged in World War II, and the restoration began in 1948 which is only a reminder of the original condition. Between 1968-81 it was also home to the Castle Club. There is currently (2014) a state archive in the back wings of the building that preserves historical sources. The rest of its premises are used by cultural and tourist institutions.
