Szürke gránit talapzaton áll a Nemzeti dalt szavaló költő 375 centiméter magas bronzalakja. Izsó Miklós Huszár Adolf által befejezett szobrát 1882-ben avatták fel. A talapzat és a rács tervezője Ybl Miklós.

Petofi statue on March 15 Square, 1882. On the gray granite pedestal stands the 375-centimeter-high bronze figure of poet Sándor Petőfi reciting the National Anthem. The statue of Miklós Izsó, completed by Adolf Huszár, was inaugurated in 1882. The pedestal and grid are designed by Miklós Ybl.
