Kochmeister Frigyes megrendelésére 1852-ben épült fel ez a nyaraló, a korszakban divatos svájci stílusban. Az újságcikk részletesen beszámol Erzsébet királyné és gyermekeinek 1866-os itt tartózkodásáról, melynek helyszínéül szolgált ez a romantikus egyemeletes nyári lak. A villa ma is megtekinthető. Kochmeister 1842-ben nyitott drogista- és terményüzletet. Nevéhez köthető a gyarmatáru-kereskedelem megszervezése. Alapítója volt a Pesti Lloyd Társulatnak, a Budapesti Áru- és Értéktőzsdének és a Magyar Általános Hitelbanknak. Commissioned by Frigyes Kochmeister in 1852, this holiday home was built in the Swiss style fashionable at the time. The newspaper article gives a detailed account of the visit of Queen Elisabeth and her children in 1866, when this romantic one-storey summer residence was used as a venue. The villa can still be visited today. Kochmeister opened a drugstore and grocery shop in 1842. He is credited with organising the colonial trade. He was the founder of the Lloyd Society of Pest, the Budapest Commodity and Stock Exchange and the Hungarian General Credit Bank.
