Mindazok az írott és nyomtatott dokumentumok tartoznak a gyűjteménybe, amelyek a kaposvári Rippl-Rónai Múzeum hivatali és tudományos-ismeretterjesztő munkája során keletkeztek. Elsősorban tudománytörténeti forrásként használható anyagokat tartalmaz adattárunk.
