1936-1951 között Németországban, Stuttgartban a Bauer cég által gyártott Pantalux 16 vetítő, mely 16 mm-es némafilmek vetítésére volt alkalmas. Orsóján 120 m film fér el, objektívje 1,6/50 mm-es, 50 V-os, 200 W-os izzó adta fényerejét, ventilátorral felszerelt. 220 V-os villanymotor hajtotta, mellyel a filmek visszatekerésére is volt lehetőség. Olcsóságának köszönhetően széles körben elterjedt volt: iskolákban, egyetemeken és a hadseregben is használták.

Pantalux 16 projector made by Bauer company in Stuttgart, Germany between 1936 and 1951. The device could project 16 mm silent films, its spool has capacity for 120 m film, it has a 1,6/50 mm objective, worked with 50 V, 200 W bulb, has a built-in fan. It was rotating the films with 220 V electric motor, which could also rewind them. Because of its low price it was widespread: it was used in schools, universities, and in the army.
