Dankó Ödön Flóris cukorboltja
Dankó Ödön 1889-1958. A Flóris cukorbolt belseje látható a képen.
Mr. Ödön Dankó's Flóris Candy Store inside. Mr. Ödön Dankó (1889-1958). A well-known figure in the Hungarian confectionery industry was originally called Frigyes Friedler. He gave his first store the name Floris, which he later took on himself. The man, blessed with extraordinary talent, was able to gain the favor of Swiss chocolatier Emil Gerbeaud. In 1924, Ödön Dankó designed the rather strange but pleasant atmosphere of the chocolate shop in Kossuth Lajos Street and the astonishing façade of the shop. (Mr. István Gádor decorated it with glazed ceramics. On page 58 of Hungarian Applied Arts, 1924.)
