A Magyar Kereskedelmi és Vendéglátóipari Múzeum országos szakmúzeum, melynek gyűjtőköre kiterjed a hazai kereskedelem (kis- és nagykereskedelem, áruvásárok, a nemzetközi kereskedelem, pénzügyi kereskedelem, biztosítás és szerencsejáték), a vendéglátóipar (szállodaipar, egyéb vendéglátóipari helyek), valamint a turizmus, idegenforgalom történetének kulturális javaira.
