Mizerák István fényképei a tornaszentandrási templomról. A hazai műemlék állományban páratlan értéket képvisel Tornaszentandrás ikerszentélyes katolikus temploma. A Szent András plébániatemplom a XII. századból való, első írott említése 1283-ból található. A különleges kettős szentély és a hozzátartozó kisebb méretű négyszög alakú hajó a XII. század végén épült. Egyesek szerint II. András király felesége, Gertrúd királyné kíséretébe tartozó merániai stílust képviselő építészek alkalmazták az ikerszentélyes formát.

István Mizerák's photos on the church of Tornaszentandrás. The 12th-century Catholic church from the Árpád era looks upon a beautiful landscape from the top of a hill. The rare dedication to a pair of saints is a reflection of the religious traditions of Italian miners from Tyrol working at the nearby Esztramos iron ore mine. One apse is occupied by the church’s patron Saint Andrew, while another apse is occupied by Saint Barbara, the patron saint of miners. The altar from the ruined Szád Castle chapel found a new place of honour here. Medieval frescoes of the saints decorate the painted wooden ceilings of galleries. Tornaszentandrás did not evade damage during the Ottoman invasion. The village was burned to the ground in 1576 and the faces of the saints on murals were gouged out.
