Kis-Svábhegy délkeleti lejtőjén állott egykori Siesta Szanatórium belső terének egyik részlete. A korábbi Schwartzer Intézet utódjaként üzemelt a második világháborúig. A harcokban súlyos károkat szenvedett, majd az épületet később átalakították és lebontották. Érdekes mód az egyetlen megmaradt épületrész, a képen látható terem - mely a korábbi méretének egyharmada -, jelenleg az épületegyüttesben az 1953 óta működő Országos Onkológiai Intézet könyvtárának olvasótermeként szolgál. Az eredeti méretű nagy terem egykor a pavilonok között álló körépület része volt, mely akkor a fogadó-, és az étkező teremként is funkcionált. A part of the interior of the former Siesta Sanatorium on the south-eastern slope of Kis-Svábhegy. It was the successor to the former Schwartzer Institute until the Second World War. It was badly damaged in the fighting and was later converted and demolished. Interestingly, the only remaining part of the building, the room in the picture - one third of its former size - is now used as a reading room for the library of the National Institute of Oncology, which has been in operation since 1953. The original-size large room, which was once part of the circular building between the pavilions, served as both the reception and dining rooms.
