A felvételen a szovátafürdői Vera és Ágoston villák láthatóak. A jobb oldali épület az Ágoston villa, középső bejárata fölött Bodega felirat olvasható. A belga kereskedők által 1879-ben alapított vállalat, első magyarországi üzlete Budapesten nyílt meg 1897-ben. Ezt követte számos vidéki üzlet megnyitása, többek között Szovátafürdőn. Elsősorban portugál és spanyol borokat és holland, amerikai, angol röviditalokat kínáltak, de sokféle élelmiszer is kapható volt. Az árukínálatból helyben is lehetett fogyasztani, a helyiségben lévő asztaloknál. A cég teljes neve The Continental Bodega Company volt.

The company, founded by Belgian merchants in 1879, opened its first Hungarian shop in Budapest in 1897. This was followed by the opening of several stores in the countryside, including Szovátafürdő. They sold mainly Portuguese and Spanish wines and Dutch, American and English spirits, but also a wide range of provisions. The range of goods was also available on the spot, at tables on the premises. The full name of the company was The Continental Bodega Company.
