A képen a Centrum Áruházak jubileumi kiállítása a "40 év szinkronban az idővel " címmel 1988. október 19-én nyílt meg a Divatcsarnok Lotz-termében. A "Régi áruház" rész a Magyar Kereskedelmi és Vendéglátóipari Múzeum közreműködésével valósult meg. A képen látható bemutatóvitrinben baloldalt a II. világháború utáni hiperinflációs időszakot, jobb oldalt az ötvenes évek jellegzetes tárgyait láthatjuk.

The jubilee exhibition of Centrum Stores entitled "40 Years in Sync with Time" opened on 19 October, 1988 in the Lotz Hall of the Fashion Hall. The "Old Store" part was realized with the participation of the Hungarian Museum of Trade and Tourism. In the display case shown in the picture on the left, you can see the post-World War II hyperinflationary period, and the typical objects of the fifties on the right side.
