A felvételen a Baross kávéház belső terének egyik részlete látható. Az 1929-es világválságot követően, a felélénkült gazdaság lehetővé tette, hogy újra pénz áramoljon a kávéházakba. Így került sor, több kávéház átépítésére. A Baross belső tere is ebben az időszakban újult meg. Ahogy fényképen is látható a berendezés már minden dísztől mentes, racionális bútorzatból áll. A modern belső részeként, tükörrel borították a tartóoszlopokat. Az 1940-es évek elején már neves előadóművészek is szerepeltek esténként, többek között Cselényi József (1899-1949) is.

The picture shows part of the interior of the Baross Café. After the Great Depression of 1929, a recovering economy allowed money to flow into cafés again. Thus, several cafés were rebuilt. The interior of the Baross was also renovated during this period. As you can see in the photo, the interior was free of all ornamentation and consists of rational furnishings. As part of the modern interior, the supporting pillars were covered with mirrors. In the early 1940s, renowned artists already performed in the evenings, including József Cselényi (1899-1949).
