A rómaiak i. e. 177-ben foglalták el e terület és és virágkorát Augustus idején élte, ekkor építették a kikötőt, az amfiteátrumot, a színházat, több templomot és palotát.
In B.C. 177, the Roman Empire occupied the territory of Pula that lived its heyday during Augustus Ceasar, when the port, the amphitheatre, the theatre, several temples and palaces were built.
