A tanulmány a jósvafői meteorológiai állomás hőmérséklet és csapadékmennyiség adait vizsgálja (mely az Aggteleki-karszt területén található) 1958 és 2008 közötti időszakban, valamint elemzi az aszály és a nedves időszakok adatait a csapadék index alapján.
The study examines the temperature and precipitation data series of Jósvafő meteorological station (situated in the Aggtelek Karst region) in the period between 1958 and 2008 and analyses the characteristics of droughts and humid periods based on the Standard Precipitation Index.
