A film a Borsod megyei Szendrő község cigányairól szól. Érzékletesen szemlélteti a cigányság két - a cigánytelepen, elmaradottságban élő, illetve a jobb anyagi körülmények után vágyódó és ezért tenni akaró - rétege közötti életmódbeli különbséget.
Text of censorship of a film about the gypsies of the village Szendrő in Borsod County. It sensibly demonstrates the life-style differences between the two layers of Roma people (the consciously underdeveloped part and the part that longs for better and more civilized conditions and is ready for action).
