Nagymaros (németül: Grossmaros) város Pest megyében, a Szobi járásban. Váctól nyugatra, a fővárostól 52 km-re északnyugatra, a Duna bal partján, Visegráddal szemben helyezkedik el. Visegrád légvonalban nem egész egy kilométer. Városi rangot 1996-ban kapott. Régóta kedvelt üdülő és kirándulóhely. Balra a Waldvogel czukrászda jobbra a templom és az I. világháborús emlékmű látható.
