Csongrádon, a város jelképeként felállításra kerülő szobor milyensége kapcsán kialakult beszélgetést örökíti meg a film. Jól érzékelhető a hajdan nehéz munkát végző kubikusok és a falu fiatalabbjai közötti véleménykülönbség: az előbbiek a még bennük nagyon is élő múltat, a nehéz munkáséletet akarják formába öntetni, az utóbbiak a jelen jelképét keresik.

Text of censorship: This is a film of a conversation that took place in Csongrád about the design of a sculpture planned to be set up in the town as a symbol of life there. The difference of opinion between the formerly over-worked members of the town and the younger people was striking. The older men thought that the sculpture should symbolize the hard working life that was still so much a part of them, while the younger generation wanted a sculpture that would represent the actual life.
