Watson Kirkonell levele Buday Györgyhöz
Buday György levelezése
Autográf levél, keltezett, két újságkivágattal, borítékkal; “I had intended months ago to acknowledge your charming volume of woodcuts, but kept waiting until I should find time to review the volume. I admire your work greatly, especially the Pilgrimage scenes and those sketches which came closest to peasant life. Canada’s chief master of woodcut, Walter J. Phillips, is a resident of Winnipeg, and I enclose a printed magazine reproduction of one of these themes. I mentioned your book to him a few days ago, and he said that he already knew of your work.”
Poet Mr. Watson Kirkconnell's letter with two articles and envelope to Mr. György Buday, dated in Winnipeg (Canada) in May 1934.
