Fémből készült emlékérem előlapján Dugonics András piarista tanár balranéző arcképével, a belső köríven "DUGONICS ANDRÁS 1740-1818", a külső köríven pedig "AZ ELSŐ SZEGEDI EGYETEMI TANÁR EMLÉKÉRE" felirattal. Hátoldalán fent Dugonics András szülőháza, lent pedig Szeged város címere. Felirata: "AZ ÖTVENÉVES FENNÁLLÁSÁT ÜNNEPLŐ DUGONICS-TÁRSASÁG SZEGED 1942".
