Később 1931-től a Szovjetunióban elsősorban iskolákat tervezett.

A picture from the photo collection of photographer Sándor Bauer who was the photo reporter of the Hungarian Film Office (belonged to MTI) as of 1946, and the employee of magazine Vendéglátás as of 1957. His legacy is about 20 thousand photos, mainly in negative.

The construction of Vasvári Pál Elementary School in Dunaújváros. On 2 May, 1950, the construction of Stalin City, or Dunaújváros, began. The work was carried out with tremendous impulse and enthusiasm, although at times it was unorganized, and in addition, counting on the "advanced" technical level the deadlines were impossibly short. Dunapentele was declared a town on 29 April, 1951. On 7 November, the settlement took the name Stalin City, which was changed to Dunaújváros in 1961. Tibor Weiner clearly played the most decisive role in shaping the architecture and cityscape of Dunaújváros. Weiner was a student at the Bauhaus in Dessau, Germany. Later, from 1931, he designed schools primarily in the Soviet Union. In 1948, he felt that he was finally given the opportunity to realize his large-scale ideas in Hungary, and he was happy to take on the role of chief architect of the new “socialist city”.
