Bauer Sándor, a kép készítője; 1946-ban került az MTI-n belül működő Magyar Film Irodához fotóriporternek, majd 1957-től a Vendéglátás magazin munkatársa volt. Több mint négy évtizedes pályájának hagyatéka mintegy húszezer, nagyrészt negatívban fennmaradt fotó.

A TESCO Nemzetközi Együttműködési Irodát 1962-ben alapították állami vállalatként. Eleinte, nevéhez híven (Technical and Scientific Cooperation), a kormányközi tudományos és technikai együttműködés koordinálása volt a fő feladata. Ennek keretében magyar szakemberek (orvosok, mérnökök, egyetemi oktatók, tudományos kutatók) foglakoztatása volt a fő feladata, elsősorban a fejlődő országokban. A picture from the photo collection of photographer Sándor Bauer who was the photo reporter of the Hungarian Film Office (belonged to MTI) as of 1946, and the employee of magazine Vendéglátás as of 1957. His legacy is about 20 thousand photos, mainly in negative.

The student hostel of TESCO company. The TESCO Office for International Cooperation was established in 1962 as a state-owned company. In the beginning, being true to its name (Technical and Scientific Cooperation), its main task was to coordinate intergovernmental scientific and technical cooperations. Within this framework, its main task was to employ Hungarian specialists (doctors, engineers, university lecturers, scientific researchers), primarily in developing countries. By the end of the 1980s, it was present in fifty-seven countries.
