Kör alakú, kétoldalas emlékérem a Nemzeti Zenede alapításának 25. évfordulójára, amely Budapest első zenei tanintézeteként jött létre 1840-ben. Az előlapon középen lant látható, körben tölgyfakoszorúval. Hátoldalán középen a magyar címer látható, körben felirat: "A ZENEDEI NEGYED SZÁZAD ÉVI ÜNNEPÉLYÉRE // PESTEN 1865".
Round memorial medal issued on the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the National Music School, the first in Budapest in 1840. On the recto: a lyre in the middle. On the verso: the Hungarian blazon and inscription meaning "To the quarter-century celebration of the music school in Pest 1865".
