A fényképek adományozója a Budapest Tánciskola Archívuma.

A III. Budapesti Nyári Tánctanfolyam megnyitója a Petőfi Csarnok előtti útszakaszon volt, a közönség két oldalt foglalt helyet. A cím rövidítésként az “Új Tánc” kifejezésre is utal, mely a francia “danse nouvelle” fogalommal rokon. A nyári tánctanfolyamok keretében Új Tánc Versenyt, illetve Szemlét hirdetett a KMS, melyre szabadon bárki jelentkezhetett. A zsűri a tánctanfolyamon tanító tanárokból állt. A versenyek, illetve szemlék programját lásd az előadásoknál. Erről a megnyitó előadásról sajnos nem sok dokumentum maradt fent.

The photos were donated by the Archive of the Budapest Dance School. The opening ceremony of the 3rd Budapest Summer Dance Course was held on the road in front of the Petőfi Hall, with the audience seated on two sides. The title is also an acronym for "New Dance", a term related to the French "danse nouvelle". As part of the summer dance courses, the KMS announced a New Dance Competition and a Muster, which was open to anyone. The jury consisted of teachers who had taught in the dance courses.
