A szegedi Belvárosi híd Újszegedet köti össze a Tisza túlpartján fekvő városrészekkel. 1880 decemberében kezdődött a híd építése - Feketeházy János és Gustave Eiffel tervei alapján. 1944. szeptember 3-án légitámadás miatt részben megsemmisült, majd október 9-én a német csapatok a hidat felrobbantották. Az új híd építése 1947 tavaszán kezdődött.

The Belvárosi bridge in Szeged connects Újszeged with the other parts of the city on the other side of the Tisza. Construction of the bridge began in December 1880, based on designs by János Feketeházy and Gustave Eiffel. On 3 September 1944, it was partially destroyed by air-raids, and on 9 October German troops blew it up. Construction of the new bridge began in the spring of 1947.
