Kissé esetlen mozgásával Mastroianni a hősszerelmes jellegzetes olasz típusát teremtette meg a filmvásznon az ötvenes években. Az igazi nagy áttörést a Fellini rendezte Az édes élet c. film hozta el számára.
The photos were donated by László Bakos, production manager. With his somewhat clumsy movements, Marcello Mastroianni created the typical Italian type of the heroic lover on the screen in the 1950s. The real breakthrough for him came with Fellini's La Dolce Vita.
