Az étterem 1961-ben nyílt meg. Ekkor kérték fel Szánthó Imre (1925-1998) festőművészt, készítse el a cégtáblát és a belső dekorációt. Ez időben született a belső térben ma is látható Szentendre látképét ábrázoló freskó is.

The photos were donated by Gábor Antal. Görög Kancsó restaurant in Szentendre. The restaurant was opened in 1961. Imre Szánthó (1925-1998) was asked to paint the trade sign and interior decoration. The fresco depicting the view of Szentendre, which can still be seen in the interior, was painted at the same time.
