The accused were Dr. Jusztin Baranyay, a Cistercian monk, ecclesiastical lawyer and university professor, András Zakar, the secretary of the archbishop, Prince Pál Esterházy, Miklós Nagy, priest, poet, writer and secretary of Actio Catholica, and Dr. Béla Ispánki, university pastor, and László Tóth, former editor-in-chief of the Nemzeti Újság.
