According to an article in Új Ász in the summer of 2011, "The 21st Valley of Arts Festival has opened in Kapolcs and two other towns in the Balaton Highlands, with around 1,800 programmes in 90 venues over 10 days. The organisers have received a 60 million HUF grant from the Minister of National Resources for the event. The Cultural and Nature Conservation Association of Kapolcs have been collecting articles and other materials related to the Valley of Arts Festival. Their material has grown by now into a collection consisting of thousands of documents. Most of them are about the Valley of Arts Festival, but there are press materials connected to either the settlements of the festival site or the performers of the events and sometimes to other cultural events as well.
