Nemzetközi gyereknap alkalmából a Verseny Áruház által patronált Dob utcai általános iskola úttörői árusítottak az üzletben fiatal vásárlók részére részére olcsóbb cikkeket. 1950 óta május utolsó vasárnapján ünneplik a Nemzetközi Gyermeknapot, a Nemzetközi Demokratikus Nőszövetség 1949. novemberében hozott határozata alapján.

On the occasion of International Children’s Day, the pioneers of Dob Street Primary School, sponsored by the Verseny (Competition) Department Store, sold cheaper items for young customers in the store. Since 1950, International Children’s Day has been celebrated on the last Sunday in May, according to a regulation passed in November 1949 by the International Democratic Women’s Alliance.
