Bár a fürdő létesítésének gondolatát az 1820-ban talált bővizű forrás adta, és a XIX. században fürdőház és gőzfürdő épült, az első kültéri medence csak 1925-ben került kialakításra. Az igazi fejlődést azonban az 1932-ben a városon kívül talált termálvíz bevezetése hozta meg. Már 1933-ban több medencével bővült (köztük fedett uszodával) és kiépültek a működtetéshez szükséges kiszolgáló épületek is. 1958-ban nyilvánították gyógyfürdővé.

Although the idea of the baths was inspired by a spring found in 1820, and a bathhouse and steam bath were built in the 19th century, the first outdoor pool was not built until 1925. The real development, however, came with the introduction of thermal water found outside the town in 1932. Already in 1933, several pools were added (including an indoor swimming pool) and the necessary service buildings were constructed. In 1958, it was declared a medicinal thermal bath.
