A képen, a békési Pinceborozó belső terének egyik részlete látható. A téglából kirakott, boltíves pincehelyiségben fából készített rusztikus asztalokkal és székekkel van berendezve. Baloldalt, egy asztaltársaság adja le rendelését a felszolgálónak. A fénykép készítése idején szövetkezeti tulajdonban volt (vélhetően a Békés és Vidéke Szövetkezet). A XVIII. század végi, barokk épület földszinti részén, ma a Békés Városi Jantyik Mátyás Múzeum kiállítóhelye működik. Kapcsolódó nevek: Bacchus Egri Borozó, Nagyház Pince Borozó.

The picture shows a part of the interior of the Pinceborozó (wine cellar) in Békés. The brick-lined, vaulted cellar room is furnished with rustic wooden tables and chairs. To the left, a table of diners place their orders with waiters. At the time the photo was taken, it was owned by a cooperative (presumably the Békés and Region Cooperative). The ground floor of the late 18th-century Baroque building is now the exhibition space of the Jantyik Mátyás Museum of Békés City.
