Az Aggteleki Nemzeti Park déli részén, a Szalonna-Rudabányai-hegység területén található Martonyi községtől kb. 3,5 km-re Háromhegyi Pálos templom- és kolostorrom. Az Aggteleki Nemzeti Park területén - a Szádvár mellett - a legjelentősebb középkori épület, országos jelentőségű műemlék. Az 1997 év végén a Magyar Állam tulajdonába, valamint az Aggtelek Nemzeti Park Igazgatóság vagyonkezelésébe került a műemlék, melynek sorsa mostanra rendeződni látszik. A mentéshez szükséges előkészületek abba a stádiumba jutottak, hogy 2001-ben megkezdődött az építészeti állagmegóvás. Ezek a képek 1992-ben készültek.
