Zárdaiskola (Kenderes)

1926-ban a régi katolikus helyére barokkos stílusú, gyönyörű zárdaiskola épült. Az öt tantermes leányiskolában a soproni Isteni Megváltó leányai rend öt-hat apáca-tanítónője oktatott. Fő patrónusai a kormányzó neje, Horthy Miklósné Purgly Magdolna, továbbá Hellenbach Gottfried báró és felesége voltak.
