A film az Újlaki Téglagyár környékén felépült óbudai kísérleti lakótelep különböző típusú házait és lakásait mutatja be. Riport hangzik el egy-egy lakóval a lakások felszereltségéről, berendezési lehetőségeiről, és bemutat a film néhány bútortípust, amelyek a legjobban illenek a modern kislakásokba.
