Kör alakú, kétoldalas emlékérem füllel, az 1848-as forradalom és szabadságharc, valamint Kossuth Lajos (1802-1894) tiszteletére. Előlapján: Kossuth időskori képmása, alul két babér ággal szegélyezve, felül felirat: "KOSSUTH LAJOS". Hátoldalán: középen medallionban: "1848" felirat, körben: "SZABADSÁG EGYENLŐSÉG TESTVÉRISÉG" felirattal.
