A 4. Cserkész Világdzsembori 1933-ban Magyarországon, Gödöllőn került megrendezésre. A rendezvényen 54 ország 26 000 cserkésze (ennek kb. fele magyar) vett részt. A tábor jelvénye a magyar mitológiából ismeretes csodaszarvas volt. A cserkészetet Robert Baden-Powell (Bi-Pi) alapította Angliában a 20. század elején, napjainkban a világ legelterjedtebb ifjúságnevelő mozgalma. Hazánkban 1910-től alakultak csapatok, a Magyar Cserkészszövetség 1912-ben jött létre. Az 1940-es években történt megszüntetés után, 1988-ban alakult újjá a cserkészet Magyarországon.

The 4th World Scout Jamboree was held in 1933 in Gödöllő, Hungary. The event was attended by 26,000 scouts from 54 countries (about half of whom were Hungarian). The badge of the camp was a miracle deer known from Hungarian mythology. Scouting was founded by Robert Baden-Powell (B-P) in England in the early 20th century and is today the most widespread youth education movement in the world. Troops have been formed in Hungary since 1910, the Hungarian Scout Association was established in 1912. After its abolition in the 1940s, scouting was re-established in Hungary in 1988. The photo was donated by Hajnal Gödér.
