A Budapesti Vidám Park a budapesti Városligetben működött 1950. május 22-től 2013. szeptember 30-ig. Közvetlen elődeit is számítva – Vurstli és Angol Park – közel kétszáz éves történetével a világ egyik legrégebbi, folyamatosan működő szórakoztatóparkja volt. A Vidám Park az 1950–1980 közötti időszakban az általános népszórakoztatás egyik fontos intézménye volt.
The photo was donated by Judit Váradi. The Budapest Amusement Park operated in the Budapest City Park from 22 May 1950 to 30 September 2013. Inclusive of its immediate predecessors - Vurstli and English Park - with a history of nearly two hundred years, it was one of the oldest continuously operating amusement parks in the world. The Amusement Park was an important institution of general entertainment between 1950 and 1980.
