A képeslapról készített fotón a Klotild paloták láthatóak. A Kígyó tér déli oldalán lévő baloldali épület földszintjén működött a belvárosi kávéház. 1910-ben vette át a Rónai család és évtizedeken keresztül üzemeltették. Az 1945-ös ostrom után elsőként nyitottak ki a városban. A palota előtt az 1908-ban felállított Werbőczy szobor látszik. A terület a képeslap kiadása idején még a IV. kerülethez tartozott.
The photo of the postcard shows the Ferenciek Square with the Klotild palaces. On the ground floor of the one on the left, called Matild, three generations of the Rónai family ran the Café Belvárosi (Downtown) from 1910. A statue of István Werbőczy stands in front of the building.
