A levelezőlap képes oldalán az egykori Kígyó tér látható, az 1899 és 1902 között felépített Klotild palotákkal. A Klotild paloták közül a déli, amely a Matild nevet viselte látszik a bal oldalon. Földszintjén működött a Belvárosi kávéház. A régi Erzsébet hidat 1903-ban adták át, viszont nem látni a kávéház előtti Werbőczy szobrot, amelyet 1908-ban avattak fel. A jobb oldali - északi - palota földszintjén, Zwieback portálja látszik. A képeslap kiadásának idején még Kígyó tér nevet viselte és a IV. kerülethez tartozott a terület.

On the picture side of the postcard you can see the former Kígyó Square, with the Klotild palaces built between 1899 and 1902. The southern of the Klotild palaces, which bore the name Matild, can be seen on the left. On its ground floor was the Café Belvárosi (Downtown). The old Elisabeth Bridge was opened in 1903, but you cannot see the statue of Werbőczy in front of the café, which was unveiled in 1908. On the ground floor of the northern palace on the right, you can see Zwieback's portal. At the time the postcard was published, it was still called Kígyó Square and the area belonged to the 4th district.
