Az augsburgi mester alkotása Felix Ivo Leichernek a bécsi ungargassei piarista rezidencia számára festett oltárképének közvetlen, vagy az arról készült devóciós metszetmásolatnak, Joseph Anton Lidl bécsi rézmetsző alkotásának a másolata. Bár Heissig másolata részleteiben jelentősen eltér Lidl metszetétől. Jelzése: „Franc. Heissig Cathol. sculp. et excud. Aug[ustae] Vind[elicorum] C. P. S. C. M.” Fölirata: „S. Josephus Calasanctius a Matre Dei, Fundator Piarum Scholarum, canonozatus a Clemente XIII. Pontifice Max. 16. Iulii 1767.” – Sorszám jobbra fönt: „62”.
