Myth and language In this paper, I consider the relationship between language and myth by offering an introduction to myth and mythological thinking, as weil as a description of the pagan gods of Mordovia and their relationship to nature. My paper offers an overview of the traditional, holistic worldview, including the relationship between nature and man. I address the problem of the relationship between consciousness and thought and describe the relationship between sound, word, and speech.
