Unexpected equivalents in the mo od systems of Hungarian and Estonian subordinate c1auses This article compares the Hungarian and Estonian imperative and conditional in subordinate clauses. In these languages, these moods have broad and sometimes overlapping functions, such as the expression of the conjunctive functions by both the Hungarian imperative and Estonian conditional.
