Referointi ja tekstilaji - referointirakenteiden käyttö suomalaisten naistenlehtien eräissä haastattelutyypeissä
Reported speech and genre The article deals with the use and functions of some forms of reported speech in two types of interview in Finnish women's magazines: the interview with an expert and the so-call ed crisis story. Although the above mentioned texts represent the genre of interview (in a broad sense), a number of differences can also be found between them. The main differences between the two analysed genres are considered with their formal/institutional or informai character and the different text types (description, explanation, argument vs. narrati ve) dominating them. In the article it can be seen that the different functions and traditions of the two genres also affect the frequence and use of some types of reported speech in them.
