Á. Eszter kiemeli, hogy a német megszállás után, április 26-án gettóba telepítették a zsidókat, majd 1944. május 21-én megérkeztek Auschwitzba, később. Á. Eszter is a mások által is tanúsított eseményeket írja meg, hogyan zajlottak a mindennapok, mik voltak a jellegzetes eljárási módok, folyamatok a táborban, hogyan viselkedtek a felügyelőnők, stb. Július 2-án Gelsenkirchenbe irányították át a csoportot, itt érte őket a légitámadás. A légitámadás sérültjeit katonák és szanitécek látták el, a horsti kórházba szállították őket. Gelsenkirchenben, a kórházban töltött idő után Ádám Eszter és egy barátnője a helyi rendőrségre ment, hogy segítsenek nekik hazajutni. A rendőrség cellájában gyűjtötték össze a jelentkezőket. A hazajutás lehetősége helyett a rendőrségen lévő foglyokat vallatták. A németek hazaszállítást, transzportot ígértek az összegyűjtötteknek később, de egyelőre nem mehettek sehová onnan. Esztert tolmácsként akarták alkalmazni a rendőrségen, de ő visszautasította a lehetőséget. A naplólejegyzés itt ér véget.

Ms. Eszter Á. emphasizes that after German occupation, on 26th of April, the Jewish population was domiciled in a ghetto, then on 21st of May, 1944 they were transported to Auschwitz-Birkenau. Eszter wrote down the events which were testified by other survivors: how the everyday life went on, what the most characteristic methods of Germans were, how the guards behaved, etc. On 2nd of July, they got to Gelsenkirchen, here the air raids touched them. The injured people got to the hospital, in Horst. After the time spent in the hospital, Eszter and her friend went to the local police station to request help to return to Hungary. They got to a cell together with other ones. Instead of the possibility to return, policemen interrogated them. Germans also promised them the possibility to return, but they couldn't go anywhere. They wanted Eszter to be interpreter in the police, but she refused this. Her diary ends here.
