Az étlaptól elkülönült itallap az 1890-es években jelent meg, de ezt csak a magasabb színvonalú üzletekben alkalmazták. A former exhibition of the Hungarian Museum of Trade and Tourism about the history of menu cards. The menus of various hotels, pubs, taverns and restaurants can be read in the board. The cost of the daily printed (or house-printed) menus could only be covered by some luxury products, and you can see a taste of them on the left side of the board. Initially, the selection of dishes and drinks was published on a common form. A drink menu separate from the menu appeared in the 1890s, but it was only used in higher quality restaurants.
